With more than ten years experience as a Research Scientist, Nadine made the career change to teaching almost eight years ago, focusing on teaching Science, Religion and Mathematics.

“I love being able to give students the opportunity to experience IT in the real world.”

Having spearheaded the IT department at Gilroy for five years, Matthew made the decision to complete his Diploma of Education after successfully completing a Bachelor of IT and working within the school community.

Matthew is in his third year of teaching and is part of the Early Careers Mentor Program at Gilroy, which focuses on transitioning theoretical experience into technical practice.

Sarsha’s career in education began in early education, completing a Bachelor of Education (specialising in Early Childhood Education).

Teaching mathematics across different year levels in both primary and secondary schools has enabled her the skills to understand the fundamentals related to concepts, and to help students transition to enjoying maths lessons and successfully achieving their academic goals.
