The P&F Association represents all parents/carers of all students attending Gilroy Santa Maria College. It is an essential and well-respected body of the College community and forms a vital link between families and the College’s administration team and staff. The P&F Association meets regularly throughout the school year.
Meetings are held at 7pm on the second Wednesday of each month (term time) in the staff room, located in the administration building. Meeting dates are advertised in the College newsletter and on Facebook, and parents notified via Compass.
Meetings are open to all parents/carers and provide a forum by which to discuss matters of interest and concern relating to the College, and provide an opportunity for parent feedback. The P&F also hosts a number of fundraising and social functions throughout the year.
An Annual General Meeting is held in Term 1, and all committee positions are vacated and open for nominations. Contact the College office for further information.
The Association is under the umbrella of Catholic School Parents Queensland and is run in accordance with guidelines set out by Townsville Catholic Education Office.
